Re: Camp clearing
Jaggedstorm washed himself by the Apprentice's Den. He watched them, amused by their antics. He shortly got up and padded of to the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a rabbit for himself. Jaggedstorm settled down to eat, quietly listening to his clanmates around him.
Re: Camp clearing
Brookwhisker blinked her eyes open as she woke as the dawn came to her clan. The dark brown and white she-cat sighed before she painfully stood up from her nest in the medicine den. If only that monster hadn't run over my leg, I wouldn't be sleeping by myself every night, she thought to herself before she limped towards the medicine den's exit/entrance. As her head reached the outside of the den, she glanced around camp as clanmates started talking amongst each other. She noticed her clan's deputy, Jaggedstorm, groom himself and then start eating a rabbit. She glanced down at the ground, a sad expression on her face.
Re: Camp clearing
Jaggedstorm raised his head, sensing someone looking at him. He looked around, but couldn't find anyone. "Brookwhisker," Jaggedstorm called spotting the she-cat. "Want to eat with me?"
Re: Camp clearing
Brookwhisker quickly raised her gaze from the ground as Jaggedstorm called out her name. The brown tabby and white she-cat glanced back at her den once before she shook her head on the inside. Figures once I'm unable to have kits of my own the toms start noticing me, she thought angrily before she sighed and limped over to him. "No thanks, Jaggedstorm. Medicine cats don't have time to have breaks, we are always busy each and every day." she mewed, trying her best to sound as if she wasn't lying, but her attempt failed.
Re: Camp clearing
"Oh, you sure? If you need help, feel free to ask," Jaggedstorm said, always ready to help a clanmate. He blinked at her, his gaze conveying no emotion.
Re: Camp clearing
Tanglestar walked out of her den, after a quick nap. She stretched, and padded over to her deputy. "Hello, Jaggedstorm. And Brookwhisker." She nodded to both of the cats, enjoying the warm sun on her back.

Re: Camp clearing
Brookwhisker glanced away from Jaggedstorm as Tanglestar padded over to them. "I gotta go......sort through some herbs." she mewed before she limped away and into the medicine cat's den, her tail down sadly. Once she got into her den she sat down and looked at her wounded hind leg. When will I have the courage to tell them the truth about how I got this? she thought in her mind.
Re: Camp clearing
Jaggedstorm tilted his head, sensing that Brookwisker was sad. "Hiya, Tanglestar! How's your day been?" He mewed, deciding he would ask Brookwisker what was wrong later.
Re: Camp clearing
"Good, so far. I was thinking of doing a border patrol around the Riverclan border. Would you like to come?" Tanglestar meowed, and sat down next to Jaggedstorm. "Mind if I share that rabbit with you? It's a bit big for one cat."

Re: Camp clearing
"Sure, I'll come. And no, this is mine. I mean, this is Jaggedstorm you are talking to y'know," Jaggedstorm mewed. He was always hungry and would eat just about anything. In this case though he was joking about not sharing.
